Central Texas State Championship

DATE: Saturday, October 25th, 2025

NOTE: All add-ons, walk-up registrations or any changes must be made at the registration table on the day of the event. There is no need to contact the meet host prior to the event. We will make sure your athletes compete on race day. 

WEATHER :There will be NO Cancellation of this event due to rain. We will delay the meet for 30 minutes as required. All participants will be asked to return to their vehicles or under pavillion until instructed otherwise via email and Pa annoucement. All communications will be relayed through email. Races will not be delayed beyond one hour on event day due to lightning. Should this happen all remaining races will be cancelled. 

 

We ask that all competitors/teams retrieve their race packets and be on site 1 hour prior to schedule race time. This gives us the ability to move into a rolling schedule if needed due to expected inclement weather.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented  20 minutes after the completion of each race. All expected award recipients need to report to the awards area located behind the south goal post immediately after their race for the presentation ceremony.

PACKET PICKUP 7:00AM 

All outstanding balances must be satisfied prior to receiving a team or individual packet. (Check, Cash or Card). Packets will only be available on race day. There will be no packet pickup prior to race day.

Protest :
All protest $50 fee must be made within 15 minutes of the completion of the protested race. We will not delay the award ceremony of a protested race if said protest does not effect the results of intended awardees. All timing or place issues presented beyond the 15 minute protest period must be reported to the timing company within 48 hours of event closure. Once final results have been posted to athletic.net there will be no further ratifications. 

Location: 

Course: The course will be run on mostly grassy terrain and several road crossing. There is one moderate size hill. The starting and finish line will be located inside the football field west of the baseball fields. There will be visible signage.

Entry Procedures and Limits:

Coaches of MS and Club teams must make sure to observe the following limits when submitting entries in Athletic.net:

• The Championship Races are limited to 7 runners for a Boys team and 7 runners for a Girls team for each school or club. Entry into the Championship Race is optional.
• Elementary participants 3rd-5th grade are welcome to compete in the Rising Stars Race 
• All Championship and Rising Star Races entries are designated by age. 

 

Meet Rules:

Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:

• We advise all runners to be on site at least 1 hour prior to their scheduled race time.
• Please assign the correct race number to the correct athlete. Every athlete competing must have a race number.
• You do not have to designate your top seven runners, any seven runners from your start list may compete in the Championship race since we will be using chip timing with the chips embedded in the bibs.
• Only 7 competitors per team are allowed in Championship races. Exceeding the maximum number of allotted team members will lead to team disqualification.
• Use your discretion when entering your runners.
• Running alongside competitors can also be considered as “Aiding” and could lead to team/individual disqualification. 
• Championship competitors must report to their assigned box number. 
• Teams must align in their box in the following configuration: (3 on the line -3 behind-1 in the back) 
• No box assignments for Rising Star participants

 

Doctor/Trainer:

• A Medical Staff will be on site during the meet. Please note- All non-life-threatening injuries should be treated by the on site medical staff at the finish line. 

Entry Fees/Registration

• No Spectator Fees 
• The entry fee is $25.00 per athlete 
• Meet registration will close October 24, 2025 (8:00 AM)
  
• INSTRUCTIONS FOR OFFICIAL INVOICE:
  Coaches are responsible for printing their Athletic.net Invoice to serve as their official meet invoice using the Athletic.net option after entries are completed. Do not send email requests for a meet invoice.

Parking: 

Add on’s will have a up charge day of event $30 per athlete.
